Record RPMS - Aaaaarrrrggghh - Problems solved.

Hi all,

I have just about finished putting together the RPMS router table, but I have a couple of queries.

If anyone has the RPMS with the gas struts, I don't know where the "Table tilk strunts" are fitted. If you look here and search (Ctrl F) for tilk, part four is labelled "Table tilk strunts". I can't work out where they fit.

Also, it says "Lock the table in the tilted position by moving the table tilt lock levers into the lock position". How do I do this?

I have the one without the struts and it doesn't have the front to back bars between the shelf and top so I guess that's the place.
Mine has a lock bar that holds the top up, may be the instructions haven't been fully rewritten and they think it still has one.

Yes, you must be right as it makes sense.

For completeness, if anyone else encounters the "Table tilk strunts" problem, you need the lower table to be fitted so that the Record logo is furthest away from the router enclosure. I had it turned upside down and fitted the lower table the wrong way. :lol:
