I've just read (on another website) that David "recordcollector" died earlier this year after a long illness.

His website is the best resource on the internet for information on Record planes and many other Record handtools. Thanks David.

I note that Roger (the same chap who makes the WS stickers, Vann) from the equivalent Woden and WS sites has posted his condolences on the Recordhandplanes.com guestbook. I suppose the Record site would fit in comfortably with his existing portfolio...
