I expect next you’ll be calling him ‘Donald ‘poopy pants’ Trump
well there have been rumours he wears an adult nappy, hence the name Diaper Don :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

also his ex lawyer used another term: " Michael Cohen, his former lawyer, said in a post on X last month: "Hey Von ShitzInPantz…"

I think you'll find Delaney was saying that it was the epitome/ultimate/maximal/top/utmost/et al (take your pick) of left wing triumphalism. Why do you think he was trying to say "pique left wing triumphalism" it's meaningless.
I think you'll find most of what he writes is meaningless, consistent, if nothing else.
"Fit of peak" - that's meaningless, unless you're a milliner or something.

Yes, "Fit of peak" would be meaningless, but he didn't say "Fit of peak", he said "Fit of peak left wing triumphalism" which is perfectly understandable. The 'fit' was 'left wing triumphalism' not pique. You are misquoting to make a point that doesn't exist, very typical of MSM reporting these days.

Given that "stuff" happens to us all as we get old I wouldn't really be that bothered if he has trouble down below. I'm more concerned by the amount of excrement that comes out of his mouth.

This is a good vid, by a sober financial commentator (he does like to do a bit more sensationalist vids about fraudsters, but they are still sober, with a few giggles). You should watch it to the end, not just take on board what he says in the first half without considering what he says in the second. 30 min vid.

I'll watch that one later, Croolis.

After I've had a bit of time to digest/recover from some of THE related stuff I've been looking at earlier today, primarily concerning DOGE.

What an absolute train wreck this is going to be for the average American, and far worse for the least wealthy. Exactly as was pointed out by people like you and I way before the election. As well as team Harris.
But morons will be morons, I guess.
Morons who have now thrown away their wive's and daughter's rights in exchange for cheaper eggs and 'gas'. I think we both knew that eggs and gas were never going to get any cheaper, and likely get more expensive under Trump.

Who would've thought that an election would be won on the price of eggs.
Meanwhile, morons have just realised that they and their kids will no longer get any funded health care. And they can't afford eggs and gas, never mind health insurance.

Sympathy for the conned. Within limits, though.

Professional political skank Marjorie Taylor Greene being looked at as chair of comittee that will do oversight on DOGE findings. As discussed in the vid, how much chance of DOGE recommendations, 'cos DOGE isn't actually a department and so has no power, going through will depend on the House. So presumably rubber stamped by MTG and then bullied into being by her (the nasty role is definitely hers, she'll enjoy being feared). I sort of see her like one of Hitler's disposable SS leader idiots - get them to do all the nasty stuff and just get rid of them when they become too much trouble to have around.

Very good video (and great deadpan humour).

So the answer to the main question posed by the video is basically "no", but whatever is done is likely to be harmful to Americans at the poorer end of the economic scale.

He does make some good points about the advantages of trimming governmental regulations, but of course we all know what happens when there isn't a regulation in an area to prevent the selfish from doing what they want (usually to line their own pockets whilst harming others).

"we will be charging China an additional 10% tariff, above any additional tariffs"

Donny still doesn't understand how tariffs work.
the democrats should be all over this

what Trumpy actually means is "we will be charging American businesses an additional 10% tariff..."

So Trump will increase the prices of these goods from Mexico..............good luck with that :ROFLMAO:
  • Vehicles
Mexico is the top supplier of automobiles to the U.S., producing 16 out of every 100 cars sold in the country. In 2023, motor vehicles were the leading import from Mexico, valued at $85 billion.

  • Electronics and appliances
Mexico supplies computers, monitors, telephones, refrigerators, and air conditioners. In 2023, electrical equipment was the fourth leading import from Mexico, valued at $18.8 billion.

  • Crude petroleum
Mexico is a major oil producer, exporting 48% of its oil directly to the United States. In 2023, oil and gas was the third leading import from Mexico, valued at $19.8 billion.

  • Medical instruments
Mexico is Latin America's leading exporter of medical devices.

  • Fresh produce
Mexico is the leading foreign source of fresh bell peppers, cucumbers, squash, and snap beans.

Like the issues caused by Brexit, I'm sure all problems will be blamed on the enemy/unpatriotic/unbelievers etc.

It is unwise to analyse US politics and behaviours by the standards of the UK - cultures are very different. As George Bernard Shaw said: "England and America are two countries separated by a common language"

Contrast the national anthems.

The British is essentially a reinforcement of an established class system with the monarch at its head. We beseech him/her to reign over us, send him/her victorious, smite his/her enemies etc. It was written mid 18th century and adopted as the national anthem at the start of the 19th.

The US by contrast lays claim to the land of the free and the home of the brave. A cowboy mentality prevails - independent spirited, tough, self assured etc.. It was written in 1814 when the newly born US was at war with Great Britain.

Trump won by a considerable margin - his voters were not all mid-west rednecks with sub standard intellects. He won as his simplistic narrative appealed to the majority - smart, stupid, rich, poor.

There are similarities with the emergence of Reform and Farage as a force in UK politics.

Personally I have little time for either - but Trump will be POTUS, like it or not, for the next 4 years unless nature has its way - death, dementia etc. A "get used" to it moment. It may even work.

The other way to look at it - Mexico will fall over backwards to retain its economic position with the US. The consequence of not doing so would be an economic nightmare with mass unemployment and reduced inwards US investment.

What better way to maintain relations than properly secure the border with US. It not only saves the US building a wall and funding troops but allows the Mexicans to do that which is necessary without taking any responsibility.

Most (not all) that Mexico provides can be sourced elsewhere. US consumers may need to pay a little more - but many may be pleased of the new employment opportunities arising from a Mexican tariff barrier.

Needs to go along with the class system, lets abolish all the stupid titles like Sir, Lord etc etc and accept that we are all the same. If we always play politcal tennis between just two parties then we can never achieve real change, the only way to rebuild this country is to change how we do things. Just because you have always used a chiesel to make mortices does not mean you cannot look for a morticing machine, so same old tools working to age old methods gives same old results !

Very good and disturbing, in equal measures.
