Picture room

Here’s a video of my latest finished project- it’s a picture room based on the one designed by Sir John Soane. My client had too many paintings for the amount of wall space in his house. The solution- increase the wall space!
it was complicated by the room being quite small and having a large desk across one end. To make the shutters near the desk open properly, I hinged them on sliding frames so that they could be pulled out of the way of the desk before being opened.
