Only taken me 30 odd years to get round to capturing the rainwater off my greenhouse, all made from bits I had in my shed, where only I go!

It does look functional, and that is what matters the most. In the barrel do you have some type of filter where the bits and pieces settle to the bottom and the out spout is above it for cleaner water output? Do you use it to water a garden?

I paid extra for the rainwater kit for my greenhouse a few years back ( £60 odd if I recall) I was shocked to get a couple of plastic adapters that pushed into the gutters where you have put your elbows and a few plastic elbows about 25 mm in diameter. I have better in my plumbing parts so doesn’t have to be pretty 👍👍👍
