I've just discovered this lovely place with like-minded folks, so nice to meet you. The name is Martin, the location is London.
Although I had many hobbies, it is woodworking that brings me here, I consider myself to be a casual DIYer. I am on the learning curve, so any constructive feedback and tips are welcome.
I do not have any "proper" woodworking projects, to show, there are a couple of small ones I did just to practice and some unfinished.
This is one of the bungalows I and friends built a couple of years back.
One of the first things I did when decided to get into woodworking was this portable workbench and table saw. Dewalt DWE7485 is definitely on the tools list. (unfinished)
Ok funny story here, I finally bought a much wanted and needed router. So to test it, I've decided to make a simple bowl, but this was made using a drill press with the router bits because the router died after 5 minutes of use, a brand new Makita RT0700, I had Makita tools dying on me after years of heavy use, but recently 3 tools died straight from the box, all made in the Romania factory, interesting.
