As Dom keeps calling me cheap ( aswell as waking me up all the time ) i wondered what price tag the forum would put on this unit ? It has been spray finished and electrically tested .

I never said you were cheap, I said you're value for money :)

Is it for a business or domestic.

Business £650.00
Domestic £950.00

Before anyone says anything the discrepancy in the price would be that cheaper materials are generally used in shops and you don't spend as much time planning and installing and generally being nice to the customer.

Now i'm going to call you cheap  It took me two days to spray it and the sparkie charged £120 .

You want to get a bigger spray gun then, an airbrush is just too small

£1000 + Vat

I don't know what it would be worth - possibly £900-£1000 in a designer furniture shop.

What I do know is that I really like the look of it :)

Did the sparkie charge include supply of lamps?

Cheers :D

 One after every dusting of course .
Made from MDF , i sealed the ends with watered down PVA . It's a trick i've been using for years .

Ok Dom told me that the other day

Because it's going to an exhibition in London olympia and i don't want to burn the place down  Seriously , too many people walking around for the electrics not to be done by a pro and a test sticker on it .

Why did you pay a Sparkie?

I think there are specific regulations for electrics for items such as this....displays, exhibition equipment etc.

ooh can i play?

What do we know? 2 days to spray lets say 300 per day, day to make so thats another 300. 120 for sparks. Couple of sheets of MRMDF, fixings, paint etc lets call it 100 for materials. Theres proably a bit of delivery involved, wear and tear, heating, lighting, the comissioning process etc.

Putting all the figures together, mixing them up and adding a bit of profit....I'd say......£1800.00

Do I get to keep it if i'm right?
