Aside from small box lids this is the first proper bit of veneering I've attempted. I spotted 4 lovely consecutive leaves of burr walnut on fleabay a while ago and knew it would be worth trying to quarter match them.
This was mainly built to hide a tumble dryer, which meant it's ended up as a bit of a beast dimension-wise, around 1400 long and over 700 deep.
No fine joinery here I'm afraid, it's all just screws and dominoes, it needed to be made flat pack anyhow as of way too heavy to move once it's together.
Pretty happy with how it came out, I do tend to only see the faults with stuff I've made but I'll let you make your own minds up, c&c welcome, thanks for looking, and thanks to those who lent advice on the way. Hard to show in the photos but the grain of the burr really sings in the light.
