I just got my Christmas Bonus and as discussed on a few posts am weighing up the options. I usually spend a portion of it on tools each year.
This year I was thinking about the Domino, as something I don't need but would like, it fits my notion of how to spend this type of 'windfall' money.
The cost of the Domino with accessories is about £630. Then you add the box of doms and cutters and get to £800. Then I read a few posts about the Domino needing good extraction to work well, so I add on the £300 for a Festool midi extractor and get to £1100.
Then I stop and think about this and realise that kind of money is most of the way to a new tablesaw (which is in my medium term plan), so now I'm looking at new saws...where will it end!
Wish me luck.
