Hi there, I’m new on and have just bought my first lathe. This site is great and I’m slowly working my way through to identify what I have and haven’t got. I have bits needing replaced and other bits missing. I had a first run at it but my chisels are blunt so I’m going to have to learn how to sharpen first.
everything will be more complex as I am running things from an inverter and a car battery charged by a very small solar panel. I’ll add on more power as I go on.
I’ve always wanted a lathe but live in a flat and have no spare room or garage. Just got a small lockup with no power but it’s what I have.
