Thought I'd share something I drew up last night.
This is the drawing board L. Francis Herreshoff designed and used for drawing the lines for many of the boats he drew. I think it makes for a very interesting design. The single shallow drawer can be opened from either side and runs on the arms below it. The disks at the ends of the arms are applied pieces. Between them and the legs of the table, the drawer is guided in an out. The drawer is fairly shallow with the 1/4" plywood bottom being supported by some rails running front to back beneath.
