Evening gent.
I haven't had time to go to a carboot in a while and it probably for the best as if cow patt was the only thing for sale I'd still buy some :) never walked away empty handed.

Well seeing all the goods and what other are getting i wanted to get involved.
There is a low end charity's junk clearance shop 5mins from me and every now as then I pop in to look if there are any tools, usually a box of crappy screwdrivers, old files, rusty chisels ect..... Tho every now and then I get a good few bits and it's cheap there to,
Any ways....
Picked this up for £5
I also got a Moore and white tap wrench.

Not a bad bit of kit and in it's box.
After using a tooth brush, stanley blade, various sand papers and an engineers rubber, I came out like this.

Not the most detailed and interesting wip.
But we all know how to get a standard no4 going.

Spiers #2 wip comming soon ;)

Thanks

Moore and White?

Shouldn't that be Wright? Or are you a bit Barrymore? ;)

I knew someone would pick up on that... Was a small joke to myself as I know other feel the need to correct peoples spelling ect.
:)

Tho I have to say my dyslexia is centred around spelling and English in General, and I'm getting sick of it being pointed out.
To sit on a computer and pick out this flaw of mine on a woodworking forum is just sad.
If it's that upsetting to some either come have a word or back off.
This isn't directed at you MMUK.

+1 Mate

Some people just don't understand just how difficult it is being dyslexic.

Yes, but to spend as much time as I do on the web is a bit sad anyway...

Actually I thought it was just your auto spell checker - I know my computer often puts words into my e-mails that i never intended (I need a spell checker that has an "English tool terminology" option  ) and I always have to re-read what I've written a few times before sending (and then some slip through  ).

Cheers, Vann.

:) hey vann,

The problem of mine is due to several things,
Big thumbs
Spell checker
Not proof reading
Using iPhone
Rushing
Being dyslexic don't help

I spend an awful amount of time on the net too :(
But hey is what we love to do.
Hope your well mate.

Have you got that no8 up and running yet?

It's arrived. It was poorly packaged - if the postie had dropped it, it would have broken 8-[ But fortunately it's complete and in surprisingly good order - apart from the obligitory surface rust.

However I've put it aside - my shed time ATM is going into my blacksmith's post drills, and into reviving a few tools with and for my 9 yo daughter (who's showing an interest).

Cheers, Vann.
