Just thought it might be interesting if people were to post pictures of the grinds they use on, for instance.....bowl gouges.....

I can't believe I'm actually saying this, it's about as anorak as you can get - but it might actually help some new people and be useful to others...?

Or have I had just a tad too much red wine already ?

Hi folks, might be interesting to know which jig etc was used to achieve it?.
Even more anorak I know but what the hell :lol: I`m pondering at the mo about getting one, maybe the Sorby universal ? seems useful. Tried making one like on the `Around the woods` web site but not too chuffed with it.

is this a fingernail gouge, or just a normal bowl gouge please.???
 
hello, i use the tormek sytem to sharpen this gouge.
its a normal bowl gouge but some will say it has a kinda fingernail grind-I dont take much notice to angles etc all i know is it suits me.
