Thanks for having me.
I'm a kind of newbie. I have a certain set of skills I don't use very much, but as a recent turn of events saw me gain a 14' x 8' shed, I thought I'd put it to use. I picked up a not as cheap or crappy table saw as the one I already had and decided I needed a bench so that I wasn't working on the floor any longer.

Here is said bench in several phases of construction.
Please feel free to critique it as much as you like, I honestly wont be paying much attention as its way better than working on the floor and I have plenty of time to do it properly next time :)
Its still a bit unfinished in the extendable section at the back, but largely its all functional including the router and dust extraction. Mitre saw bench will be "soon"-ish. Possibly after I find good insulation....

Cheers!
Kev

Hi welcome. We could all tell you a dozen ways of setting up your workshop but you will find that it will evolve with use.
Hum that doesn’t work there, move, re move until.. ah just right
Only advice I will give.
Keep a safe way out, just in case you want to leave in a hurry.
I am not talking just emergencies, more day to day
The phone goes and the one with you is flat the other half/kids yell for you ..you get the idea

welcome along, looks like a great place to work. Bang a bench together and get on with it that's my moto, honestly don't search for my workbench build thread that's been ongoing since 2017 ;)
