Theres probably a good reason why I have never seen wooden handlebar grips on a motorcycle before but thought I'd give it a go for something different to do. Whether it works in practice or not remains to be seen.
I think its bubinga, holes drilled first, (22mm for one side 26mm for the throttle), then turned and finished in Hard wax oil.
As with most things wooden it feels nice in the hand, but as said as yet to be tried in anger. be a while yet before its on the road.
