I'm sure you don't mean to say that the solution is to bomb Israel but that's how it can easily be interpreted
Israel needs a really good slap, bring them back to reality as it is the best way to stop a bully. Once they realise times have changed and they must give back all the land they have stolen and rebuild Palestine with the aim of long term peace then we might just see things move in the right direction. But for some daft reason we have just stood back and watched them slaughter civilians for decades as if it was some form of sport and then we act all surprised when trouble errupts rather than impose trade bans like we have on Russia to force there hand.

Since 2005, Hamas and other terrorist groups in Gaza have launched over 20,000 rockets and mortars at Israel, carried out more than one hundred suicide bombings, and dug dozens of terror tunnels into Israeli communities—all at the expense of the people of Gaza.

Israel could of course grin and bear it, turn the other cheek, assume it's just a minor prank. But Hamas unambiguously want rid of Israel and most of its population.

Hamas deliberately put their own civilians in harms way in the hope that a human shield will deter a response. They are responsible for complete barbarism - as October 7th - indiscriminate killing and hostage taking. They are a disgrace to humanity.

Israel is a democracy. In my view they made the mistake of allowing Netanyahu power, whose actions have gone well beyond what would have been "proportionate".

Israel does not need a good slap - they need committed international support (UN, US, Middle East states) to find a long term peaceful settlement. Any action which may allow Hamas (or other similar terrorist groups) to thrive is an affront to basic humanity.

It is interesting - enlightening - which side you take. I am not impressed. There are other perspectives, ones which take a very different viewpoint. What you must realise is that many of the Arab nations are angered by Hamas and Hezbollah (and, essentially, Iran) for destabilising the Middle East. There was hope for the Abraham Accords. After several Arab-Israeli wars, Egypt was the first Arab state to recognize Israel diplomatically in 1979 with the signing of the Israel-Egypt Peace Treaty. It was followed by Jordan with the Israel-Jordan Peace Treaty in 1994. In 2020, four more Arab states (the UAE, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan) normalised relations.

Amjad Taha is a political strategist and analyst from the UAE. Author of The Deception of the Arab Spring, excoriated Hamas and Hezbollah in a tweet Wednesday night, while cheering a pair of attacks – widely attributed to Israel – targeting Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon and Syria.

“You dared to strike at a smart and courageous nation on October 7th—committing genocide, kidnapping their children, and violating their women,” Taha wrote.

“You thought they would fall, but they rose again, returning after 11 months to correct what had only momentarily slipped—their intelligence. Now, they will send you back 1,000 years, to a time without technology, where a ringtone feels like a death knell and a beep is a nightmare.”

Taha praised Israel for accomplishing what he dubbed a “victory” for “all who stand against terror.”

“You will be haunted by your own shadow, too afraid to use any technology, cut off from the advanced world. And they will defeat you—not with bullets or tanks, but through the unbreakable will of brave, intelligent people.”

“Over a simple cup of coffee, with one decisive click, they will seal your fate, and the fate of anyone who dares harm their children. This is a nation the world respects. Lebanon—Hezbollah’s pager attacks and today’s V82 strike are not merely military victories; they represent a triumph for the Middle East over radicalism—a victory not only for Israel but for all who stand against terror.”

In another tweet Wednesday, Taha castigated Hezbollah for its involvement during the Syrian civil war, celebrating Israel’s targeted attacks on Hezbollah operatives – detonating pagers and hand-held radios on Tuesday and Wednesday.

“Once again, Israel’s remarkable fireworks light up Lebanon, as Hezbollah members gather to bury their ‘pagers 1’ victims—only for ‘Pager 2’ to begin, burying the burriers.”

“Today, new communication systems, vehicles, and locations tied to Hezbollah—the same group responsible for slaughtering innocent babies, raping women, and committing genocide in Syria—are targeted.”

“This terrorist organization, which has displaced millions of Muslims, Arabs, Jews, and Christians from northern Israel by attacking hospitals and schools, is being systematically dismantled. Many admire Israel’s effective methods in eliminating these savage terrorist animals in Lebanon.”

A long-time critic of Hezbollah, in June, Taha compared the terrorist group to Nazi Germany: 90% of Lebanon is against the terrorist Hezbollah militia. The people of Syria are calling for the destruction of Hezbollah, which killed half a million of them, displaced 7 million, burned their homes, raped women, and kidnapped children. The Arabs are against Nasrallah and wish for his death. The Lebanon War will be a victory for the State of Israel and a weakness for Hezbollah, and it is important that the people and the opposition seize the opportunity.” pic.twitter.com/IdqtX68x2N

Hezbollah, Taha said, is “not different than the Nazis.”

These so called terrorist groups did not form for no reason, they did not decide that it would be a good occupation but instead are the creation of years of Israeli oppression and stealing land from the palestinians. As I have said if for some reason the EU for example conquered the UK and made us live in poverty with little food do you not think that there would be resistance, this resistance becomes in western eyes terrorism to fight back.

Jacob, there is no country called "Palestine".

If you believe there is, show me where they are on a map.

Israel did not exist as a state before WW2.
What is now Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza was all British Mandatory Palestine.

https://time.com/6339889/cancel-abraham-accords/

"The pact promised regional security despite allowing Israel to bypass the rights of 6 million Palestinians living under daily brutality, military occupation, and apartheid rule to establish alliances with authoritarian regional regimes."

"Rather than curbing Israeli abuses, the Accords emboldened successive Israeli governments to further ignore Palestinian rights. In the first year after the Accords, settler violence dramatically increased in the West Bank. Following the election of Israel’s most right-wing government in history in 2022, cabinet ministers openly called for the annexation of the West Bank and announced massive settlement expansions. In the year leading up to Oct. 7, Israeli forces had already killed almost 200 Palestinians in the West Bank. Israel has rained destruction on Gaza since the Hamas attack, killing at least 15,500 people, 70% of them women and children, while floating plans echoed by Israel’s Intelligence Minister to forcibly displace Gazans to Egypt and pushing the Egyptian government to offer them permanent housing and residence permits in the Sinai. Dozens of scholars have described Israel’s campaign as a genocide."
