Drew,

If I stayed in the WW trade, making is the only thing I would go into.
Trouble is, I havnt got much time to spend doing things that don't pay!
Its all very pressured with not a single hour to spare! so dipping a toe into the water would not be feasible right now.

I still would not write off the possibility of trying though, at some point in the future.

What do you specialise in yourself and what do you most enjoy doing?

Oh, sorry about the circumstances thing. I'm a bit behind you age wise but not too much!!

Regards

Matstro,

sorry it has taken so long to reply, I've just been paying flying visits here.
My speciality is kinda different, I'm a stained glass artist. I do the traditional style windows, leaded, painted etc.
But before anyone cries fraud, let me explain I spent 15 years on the tools as a joiner. In that time I did site work, coach building and cabinet making then a couple of years as a miniaturist (1/12 scale furniture and dolls houses). One of my houses went to a museum of childhood and another went to a stately home.
Nowdays I still take time to enjoy a bit of wood butchering. The family is always needing something made or fixed. But I especially enjoy getting down to some furniture making. Last thing I made was a sewing workchest I designed, out of american white oak. If I ever get round to photographing it I will ask Charlie if I can stick it in the "your work" section.
I also apologise for being long winded.

Drew

Drew,

Its good to hear what you do. I've always admired stained glass work.
You sound extremely multi talented. Oh, and stop apologising for "going on" in your posts. They make for good reading here.
