addition.... almost 6 pm, and the humidity is just starting to drop. still 31 indoors, I am completely confused.

Humidity meters are rarely accurate (or so I have been told by one who knows). Certainly the two for my weather station (one internal and one external to the house) read differently if left sitting side by side.

But if indoors is significantly colder than outdoors, and being as you're, er, close to a lot of water, I guess you could get condensation. But I agree it is a bit weird.

Whats even weirder is the night time temps are now dropping. When I get up around 6.30 its down to 25 outside, while indoors stays warm, and the garage is closed up, which should make rust impossible.
Just had friends round and we are all commenting on the humidity this year, must be that global warming thingy.
