We had an old Magimix bowl with a very similar problem. It didn't seem to glue well enough with epoxies (hadn't thought of using solvent weld - good tip!) so ended up using a mechanical fixing: drilled two small holes and used a cable tie. That worked for about ten years (very active use and in the dishwasher several times each week) until we finally bought a replacement bowl.
