Answer machine question

i have just spent 50 quid on a digital cordless answer machine and 1 other base unit, it is a BTstudio 3500.
It is crap, i can hear my own voice in the ear piece vibrating and i cannot talk for long as this really annoys me. It is now packed up and ready to go back from whence it came.
What do you recomend as a good quality answerphone .

Our Siemens Gigaset is a cracker. It's the S450, but I don't think they do it now. If you go into a lot of the larger shops you will problbly find that their phones are the gigaset range.

Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

The Panasonic range are the best I have used so far.

the company i work for uses and fits gigaset c470ip-rcl's

nice fone. i have one 'as a test phone' girlfriend never uses landline now to dial peeps so phone bill is zero... has the ability for 6 providers too...
if someone phones us it rings, we can't tell if its thru landline or internet (i think it rings different or can be setup to) but it just gets answered... this model doesn't have a landline answer phone tho so you have to use bt's 1571... voip provider will give or not give a answerphone service i think
