Another Anniversary Bowl

My Wife's Aunt & Uncle recently celebrated their 50th AWedding anniversary so I was pressed into service to personalise a bowl for "Kathleen & Ken's" present.

You may recall my earlier bowl with the personalisation carved into the base.

I thought I would try something different again.

The bowl is made of Sapele. I cut down some offcuts of sycamore and cut out the "KK 50", carved the base to locate the cut letters and numbers. Having glued them in to the base it was sanded down to flush and sealed and polished. Gave a different look. Thought I would share as an Idea for anyone being asked to do similar

Nice bowl, accurate looking inlay. I'm sure they are right choofed.

I did indeed - it was my first outing with a scroll saw so I was rather pleased with what could be achieved.
