Hi I am selling my fantastic Axminster AC250PT Planer thicknesser.

A situation has come about by where I need to sell my house by auction due to ill health. I have some good machines here and I am selling them cheap for fast sale. This is a genuine bargain on offer.

The machine is virtualy mint, it runs 100% true in all planes, no sniping no nothing.

I bought it new a few years ago, it ran perfect right out of the box and still does. It has the thicknesser depth setting dial which is amazing, you set it at 55.55 mm and it comes out at 55.55mm the machine is just a pleasure to use. 1000% better than my old Elektra Beckum HC260.

Machines literally been used a few hours thats it. Blades still perfect. Also have the blade setting tool which is not pictured but I have it.

There is no catch, there is no fault, it's a genuine bargain. I just want to sell it fast, else it will end up getting left in the house after sale.

This is the thing though. This is a big heavy machine thats hard to move. I am ill, and cannot help you move it. Your gonna need like 4 guys or some proper lifting / moving equipment. It's on the seller to get the machine out of the house and to your transport.

UPDATE : Many members are saying if you unbolt the beds the machine wil be an awful lot to move, and it will. I have never removed the beds. Also I have added pics from my front door to street, see the black doormat area insid ethe front door, the machine can be wheeled there easy, it's just a few meters away in a room. Then you can see theres a few steps to street you need to traverse. There is a small double yellow line right next to my gate so good spot to put vehicle for 10 mins to load, your not gonna have to drag it half way up he street.

I think if you remove beds and 2 guys can do this easily enough.

This is genuine bargain that's hard to beat I reckon, you need to get it moved out the house yourself.

Machine can be tested.

Yes I think you might well be right.

I did not realise you can remove the beds, turns out you can indeed remove them and that will make it an awful lot easier.

So i might have overblown the difficulty of moving it, it was just tough to get it in the house when I purchased it from Axminster, of course it was fully assembled on a pallet then. Thanks.

Having moved one recently, it’s a good 150kg. I stripped it down in about 45 mins and it’s just about movable by one person.
That's awesome news, thank you so much for that!
I'll do some research and see what need to do.
