Hi all

Just wondering if anyone else has had issues with Aliexpress orders this week.

I have been buying from them for years without too much trouble, but this week I placed and order for about ten different items from ten different sellers. All items were dispatched and tracking started. All of a sudden all 10 packages were returned to Aliexpress with a vague message about issues in the destination country and refunded all my payments.

Anyone else have this issue or know what's going on.

Thanks for any input on this.

Paul

Nothing like that here. I've have a few orders in transit with no problems yet.
Although I did have an Evri courier throw a package over the side wall two weeks ago and trashed the contents (poor packing didn't help). Getting a credit wasn't too difficult.

It's tricky because although you're buying through one portal, you're dealing with many individual sellers each of which may be geographically far apart and using different couriers and export routes internally. Similarly things get delivered by different couriers within the UK.

I bought a graphics card for the PC of Aliexpress.

It was running late so they gave me a £1 credit.

Royal Mail notified me it would be delivered last Sat between 11:44 and 3:44

It didn't materialize so I checked on Thursday and it had been returned.
The postman never heard of it.

Full refund no problem.
One from Amazon expected today, but 40 quid more expensive.

Not had that problem.
But 1 item I am outstanding from Temu was stuck at Kazakhstan border a while, moved through eventually, but now been stuck another 15 days at customs point EU border for entry paperwork?
Because òf it's size it is coming overland!

Are you in Canada? The postal strike is causing them a lot of issue due to the ‘free if it’s late’ policy

I’ve had problems, too.
Tracking said “in transit”, then “cannot deliver”. Then was changed to “delivered”, but wasn’t. Evri don’t have proof of delivery.
Tried to get a refund, but refused by Ali Express because I can’t prove I didn’t receive it!
I’ve now got to go back via either Evri or credit card to get my money back, which is frustrating, but a first world problem.

Evri are an execrable excuse for a company.

I've totally given up with them delivering to the house and now always specify the local post office as the drop-off as they have no excuse to miss it as they have to pick up there most days.

I also now NEVER use a supplier I know uses Evri as the delivery agent - sometimes, e.g. with Amazon, you don't know who is delivering, hence the previous paragraph, however I'll never knowingly put business their way ever again - it's just not worth the aggravation.

Over a period of years we've had awful service around here. DPD, DHL and all the others have no problem, but with Evri we get a litany of dismal performance, lies and total disinterest from their equally awful "customer service".

Not just us - everyone around here - village Facebook group is full of "where is my parcel', "does anyone recognise this door", "they said it was delivered but I can't find it" etc. etc. Last parcel from them they took 4 weeks to deliver it from the depot 3 miles away. 22 emails, 5 phone calls and goodness knows how many SMS messages...

Shockingly awful company: avoid
