Here are the results for the Advanced section. Congratulations to Tim who edged out Woodbloke by a narrow margin. Gill and Keith came in third with their meter cupboard which beat their headboard on the overall weighted ranking.

Hurrah! I never win anything. I think it was a pretty close run thing though which always makes it more exciting.

Congrats also to Woodbloke - I think the next stage may well see a reversal of fortune.

Many thanks also to Chris for organising and the judges for, well, judging.

One thing though I should clarify is the colour. The colour will be as shown in the design. (Clients' prerogative and all). I assumed that would be clear since there would be no other reason for the choice. The photo appended to my entry does say that it is only showing detailing.

The room is indeed this colour

and the clients want the cabinet to match. The colour does actually work in the setting and is called Elizabethan Red.

I hope this doesn't change the judges' decision but I'd rather be straight about it and face a change of heart than win through confusion.
