110mm Soil pipe

I am extending my 110mm soil pipe dust extraction system in the garage roof joists and was wondering if there is an easy way to get the push fits to go together. What lubrication do you use as its not easy working above my head (no strength in my arms in this position)

If not a little washing up liquid will suffice, although not as good.

Silicone spray from the merchants that sell the pipe. It's made for the job and works really well without wearing off before you have done any necessary adjustments.

Thanks all - the fairy helped - only one was very difficult to get at but with the help of my clamps I was able to get it together.

Now there's a thing

Putting clamps on a fairy must contravene some Health & Safety
regulation somewhere!
