    Pointing up slabs

    I have to do quite a lot of this soon thinking of getting a 'pointing gun' but what is the recommended mix and how wet etc., i need good adhesion the slab edges are tapered and mortar has failed in the past although they do not rock, any help here would be appreciated.

    MK Electric 13 amp socket advice needed.

    I assume that the socket is not surface mounted as if it was you could move it to give more wire length available in the housing for easy connection. As it is you can only keep trying or get a sparks to crimp some wire on to extend the short ones.

    If the 1.5m bench was built sturdy but not to heavy you could pull it into a bigger space then you can use any fixing method and stand were you need to.

    Shelves without any visible method of support

    16 amp circuit.

    When you do a electrical job its a good idea to use best practice you have a 40a feed .New box with rcb (better protection) + 2x 16a mcb (16a +ring )&5a mcb (lights) thats 5ways used look at garage distribution units in toolstation and screwfix and you are adding 1x 16a mcb.

    Using Bandsaws

    Setting the saw up is important the hand book from record will take you through it, check the wheels rotate smoothly by hand first. Set the fence square and cut wood ,check your setting after a couple of days running in you get a surface that needs planing up not smooth .

    Jake i don't understand what you said. Just to be different my garage ring cct has a 16a mcb and i have connected a 16a socket to it adjacent to a 13a outlet i do not need 32a fuseing.
