I was pointed to this web site by my host provider

full of useful info for those that wish to know who , where from and what system is peeking at ones site.

all one does is type ones web site in place of YOURDOMAIN

http://YOURDOMAIN/webstat , and voila one gets info simerler to this

I use www.sitemeter.com who make pretty maps available like this.

each dot represents a recent visit.

South America? Erm... Dunno; if I don't look regularly I might miss them 'cos I only get the last 100 visitors. My main site has had some; still waiting on Antarctica though...

If you don't own the server or have full access to it. ie. you are using free hosting, you can use Google analytics, to get similar results.

It works very well.
