Ok, rubbish name for a tool, but as a 1/2 price clone of the Fein Multimaster I have to say I'm enormously impressed with it. All it took was buying the £5 'star' adapter from Fein (the one that allows you to use your older Fein machines with the newer Fein accessories) and now the multitude of excellent Fein blades and accessories fit perfectly.

I've wanted a Multimaster for years but couldn't justify the price, at £60 this is getting a lot of use and proving its worth over and over (especially since last week my relatively new B&D 'Mouse' sander exploded in my hands!).

Can't find this listed anywhere - even on the Worx website. Any more info please?

I couldn't find it on Worx's website either, the date on the paperwork that came with it is only a couple of months ago, so I'm guessing it's a brand new product that hasn't filtered through to most of the usual outlets yet.

I found this product in Argos, believe it or not! If you have any specific questions about it I'll dig it out later and see what answers I can give you.

Thanks for that V. Appears interesting - I'll have a closer look.

This is a great tool but I wore out the blades in just a few days of heavy work. Then I discovered how it is close to impossible it is to get replacement blades. The Worxtools site refers you to Argos, screwfix & homebase for buying the tools and as far as I know you cannot order them directly. None of these stores sell the accessories ether in their stores or online, I walked around all their stores in the past few days and also checked at Wikes.

What's galling is that the Worx Sonicrafter is probably a rebranded Rockwell Sonicrafter - a US product and those guys sell the 72 piece complete kit with a bunch of blades and accessories.

This is the only place in the UK that I've found for accessory blades: http://www.gr8spares.co.uk/index.php?se ... at&Submit=

Thanks for the welcome folks.

Worx really messed up here, they should have included more blades with the tool, but I'm going to take advantage of Vormulac's initial post and get some additional blades from Fein later on.

Hi Gormoth,

Glad you found my post helpful, with that star adapter on hand I am finding my range of accessories for the Sonicraft is now comprised of Worx, Fein and Bosch - all of which have been bought for very little money on ebay! I would be curious as to whether the Fein dust extraction collar would fit it, but my pockets aren't deep enough to get one on spec!

FYI, when you go to the gr8spares site and do a search, you must search for both "sonicrafter" AND "sonic crafter" as you will get different results.
