My radial arm saw is probably the last machine I would get rid of.
Mine is placed between 2 benches and when not in use the table forms part of the bench and seems to take no room at all.

i like that knock down table

i may make one for xmas get togethers :D

it seems i have a lot to think about

going to sit in my shed and look at what i don't need

The space you have would give you a terrific turner's workshop, with additional space for a bench which would mean you could take advantage of your bandsaw to make moderate sized furniture projects using mainly hand tools and a few hand held power tools. Everything else on your list is just a space eating barrier to working safely and efficiently.

I'm not one to push hand tools on people, but I do absolutely agree with this. My workshop isn't much bigger (16'x10') and around a third of that is taken by metalworking and general DIY storage. Working solely on a bench rather than moving between various machines gives me a comfortable space to work in.

my only concern of losing the tablesaw (although it is cheap rubbish) is how do I get a 4 inch wide board from a 12 inch wide board 8 foot long?

surely i cant do that on a bs can i?

ok thats good news i never realised that was an option

first bit of equipment has found a home then...right by the door so i can feed 16 foot
mitre saw next to it at same height

its a start :D

I can maybe then put bench drill next to that

I will be making a table for the drill press ..so same height again

only thought there is that no rollers involved :(

bit more planning i think to fit rollers

I would say get rid of the RAS and use a table saw on wheels. I have a 18' by 8' garage - long lengths and sheet materials get cut to manageable size outside on a chop saw with stand and circular saw respectively. I have half my stuff on wheels and want to get it all on wheels.

All of the items can be very easily drawn to scale and moved around.
