It's the 8" version but it's producing bows width ways (left to right) and the blades appear to be straight :? although it'll probably turn out to be operators error6" or 8" Charley?

Must be the blades Charley? Even with operator error can't see how it could happen. Maybe take the 3 blades out, check that size is identical and reset using a dial gauge. Presume you've checked that the infeed and outfeed tables are coplanar? (With each other and the cutter head?) then adjust the outfeed table? Let us know how you get on. Maybe Philly and Aragorn can add a few suggestions? And, of course, Nick.
