Hi all,
I'm wondering if anyone can help and also point me in the direction of anyone on here that might sell plinths.
I am a sculptor and trying to find the most suitable type of plinth for some small sculptures made from gypsum. The plinth required measures approx 13cm long x 7cm wide. I recently purchased a sample on ebay which was a double chamfer and realised I might of made the wrong purchase as I believe a traditional ogee could be the best fit for my pieces.
I'd like to ask what people think is the most suitable type of wood / colour to compliment high end gypsum sculpture that is grey (almost concrete like) in colour.
Im also gluing the sculpture to the wood base. Is there a recommended adhesive to use for gypsum plaster and wood?
If anyone can supply suitable plinths then please let me know as looking for regular orders.
