Now then! I surprised myself!
An old spreading-knife (kitchen knife, not sharp, just used for spreading butter, etc.) lost its handle.
I knocked-up quite a decent facsimilie out of an old bit of hardwood.
The knife has a very rough steel tang about 50mm long and 5mm diameter.
I glued it to the handle with some standard contact adhesive.
Is there a better glue to use wood-to-metal? (There is a second knife)
