If I were running a business where time was money and quality was paramount...I would consider a Domino simply because it has such rave reviews (particularly here) but I don't so I can't see a Domino in my future....probably ever.

Running a business I did consider a domino. It was the fact I was running a business that put me off. There no faster then biscuits and nor do they "improve" the quality of your work. Domino's reduce your profits. I only recommend them to people that don't woodwork for profit.

I was thinking exactly the same thing, I have tried Festo kit and to be honest I could not justify any of it.

I consider power tools as consumables, one that should last a long time but not something like my hand tools which I would like think will last me till I fall off my perch.

I don't think Festo stuff will last much longer than the competiors kit, the Festo Jigsaw we had at the last firm I worked for lasted about 4 years with fairly heavy use.
