Which router for the Dakota "deluxe" router table

At first I was thinking of getting the Bosch RP2301 (3612C successor) but then I read that the Triton 1/2" router was THE router for a table. Apparently bits can be changed above table and the depth can be set from the underneath of the router as well.

Question is, is this feature compatible with the Dakota "Deluxe" table? I've read many posts on this forum but they are ambiguous about whether or not it's possible.

Generally, it seems most people are fairly happy with the table but don't think of it as deluxe themselves :)

and I guess a corollary is: if I can't access the router's depth set from above with the Dakota table, is there still a point in choosing it over, say, the Makita?
