I'm not sure if the OP has given up in disgust with the rest of us or not, but as someone who uses drills a lot I can recommend having both the Makita DHP481 along with a Festool C-18. The Makita DTD 152 Impact driver which came with the drill is also very useful. I use all of these frequently and each one is suited to different tasks quite well. A more proficient impact driver would be an advantage.
Admittedly this is a fairly high investment but I know these tools will do the job, do it well and do it for a long time. I also know that I won't have to charge them every time I use them and they will hold charge for a very long time. I have also used an Erbauer drill which costs a fraction of the cost, which was fine for various tasks and was much easier to hold for long times due to lightness, but needed charging a lot more often. I also rate the parkside drills for their costs.
The Makita DHP481 is a real beast and can easily drill through concrete as well as run a 38mm auger through 6" of oak, and is as good as my corded SDS apart from locked chisel use, so I rate it highly and wouldn't be without it. The Festool is b****y useful for getting into spaces no other drill can reach and the impact just speeds things up and will drive harder than the other two.
If I didn't earn a living through making sawdust I really wouldn't need them, but regardless they make any job a hell of a lot easier.
If the OP hasn't made a choice yet and is near Petersfield I can let him/her have a play.
Regarding the Impact driver argument, For many jobs they're not necessary and sometimes counterproductive, but they do have their uses (hammer) (hammer) (hammer)
