I’m wondering what type of glue you would recommend for butt jointing 20mm thick panels made in American ash?
Last time when I glued some ash panels together, I used a screwfix joiners mate Polyurethane (PU) adhesive, but this left a nasty yellow stain along the joint line. The yellow stain was really highlighted after oiling and a total nightmare to sand away.
Now again I have quite a few panels to panels to make up, again in ash. I was thinking about going back to using good old PVA (Evostik Resin), but still rather like the idea of using PU as it is a “glue and forget” until dry.
What glue would you use?
