hi,

I need some help regarding my workshop. It is an old stable approx. 15'x7'. I plan to knock the wall in between it and the next shed and have a bigger shop. (15x15). But i have a severe water problem. There is water coming in through the back wall and i am not quite sure how to fix it.

I was thinking of chipping out the floor as they are both uneven and need fixing, and possibly installing some sort of DPM.

Any ideas would greatly be appreciated as the water is making a mess of my shop.

regards,

michael

What is the level of the ground on the other side of the leaking wall . Some pictures would also help.

There are 3 possible causes. The ground outside is part way up the wall, rising damp, gutters are required.
Further info or pics would help.

Roy.
