I have a 15 TPI backsaw - admittedly not the best quality, being a Bahco, and besides the teeth are what I believe is now called "universal cut", whatever that is; 0.5mm thick plate, 0,9mm kerf - which I find a bit rough for the kind of use I intend the 20TPI for.
For that kind of cutting I have been making do, sort of, with a 32TPI, Junior hacksaw - not the best option for woodworking, you must agree.
So, even though I can understand 14 TPI are of a more general use, I am taking my chance with 20TPI (actually, I would also be taking a chance with the 14TPI option, my only rip cut saw - which I modified from an originally crosscut - so far being 7 TPI).
Thank you.
