Here in Lowestoft we have a hardware / timbersupplier called Rushmeres.
They sell a lot of offcuts at stupid prices, ie 4ft x 4ft oak veneered both sides @ £7.00, 900mm x 480mm oak veneered one side MDF @ £3. 90 .
The MDF has a 1/8 inch layer each side in pink. What is this ?
Just bought 30 of each but dont know what to use it for yet as I have used what I needed to make new units for my workshop.
By the way it`s 18mm thick.
