LeGrand isn't bad - I've used a few of these

but they are bit flimsy and not too aesthetically pleasing. Easy to fit!

I think you can also get these at Carrefour and Leclerc.
 
John, the ones on the LM site are these which do send the cable out at an angle rather than straight down

I do, like Dick, think these are flimsy and nowhere near of such as qood quality as those found ready moulded onto appliances, extension leads etc.

The legrand ones on Steve's link do appear to have the cable going straight down but I suspect the quality is no better.

I agree about the quality but, TBH, I think the quality generally of the French plugs and sockets is poor.

I don't think you will achieve the more solid feel of a moulded plug with replacement type.

This is a LeGrand in use in the workshop. When screwed together it is quite solid.
