Since the election results, no Democrats have called the election “stolen”, or “rigged”.

Kamala Harris has stated the Democrats would help the new administration with a smooth transition

That’s what happens when decent parties abide by the rules that are set.

What would have happened if Trump had lost?

Who knows? Why speculate, as we can never know. The Democrats lost so comprehensively in this landslide there was no chance of it being questioned. When Trump questioned it the voter numbers caused a problem if you recall. Few electoral systems are perfect and the US one with Senate and HOR is fairly involved.

Not sure about the decency. Sore loser more like. She failed to address her campaign party when she lost, skulking off and leaving it to a man, and took an age to concede defeat.

However, the Bill Clinton statement issued today was sensible.

Oh my.

Second bit first - I remember something very, very different to what you have written. (I'm a details and evidence guy, remember?)

I distinctly remember that there was absolutely nothing at all suspect or irregular about voter numbers. I also remember that Trump CLAIMED that there were problems but there was absolutely no evidence to substantiate that claim.
I guess some people can easily appear to fall for unsubstantiated and outlandish claims if it aligns with their pre-disposed bias?
External investigation confirmed that there was nothing at all suspect about voter numbers, yet the lie persists in the minds of those probably that fell for it...

First bit second - I think your description is playing the situation down, somewhat. He did more than question. With nothing more than a deliberate lie, he instigated an attempted violent armed coup.

These points are a matter of record and not of opinion.

The media have woken up at last and are now describing the Republican victory as a landslide. Kneeler meanwhile is telling us that he has a "hearty and fond" call with Trump, whereas those close to Trump say he regards Starmer as a woke lightweight and negotiating amateur. My instinct is that Starmer is deluded about his relationship with Trump and clinging to the buffoon Lammy is ill advised.

Meanwhile the German government alliance has collapsed. Bodes well for NATO funding and it will be very expensive for us if Trump decides to curtail US support of it on nationalistic grounds.
Maybe time to stop using the term "Kneeler". Forget about band wagons etc, it has other, less attractive connotations.

Kneeler is a term frequently used by the MSM and appears not to get any editorial moderation at all. It arose from his photograph of him proudly kneeling next to Angie and is a factual statement of his behaviour when he also recommended it to others to show respect. Any other connotations are surely in your head? If kneeler was a rude word as opposed to merely a descriptive word, then no doubt your bleep machine here would change it.

Just take the advice please.

Hey Robin, have you never seen "The Good Liars" on YouTube when they interview Trump supporters at Trump Rallies?

The footage is hilarious, frightening and jaw-droppingly unbelievable, all in equal measure. It is quite clear that a proportion of Trump Rally Attendees appear to be as thicker than a very thick mince, I agree that it can't just be those thick as one short plank that constitute his entire voter base... One thing is for sure, though - the cognitive dissonance on display amongst Trump supporters is staggering.
With 73m voters I am quite sure any report on their intellect could represent them as inconceivably thick and stupid, or exceptionally bright and articulate.

If you have been fed the former and believe it to be true, you have uncovered an echo chamber not a serious piece of commentary.

As a lover of all things innuendo, puerile, immature and crude... I must admit that one's passed me by (the connotations of that word - unless it's a rather unimaginative homophobic slur?)

Nah. Just verbose and opinionated. Don't bother to read your stuff.

Which is it?

Do you read it and then make a (poor) judgement that it's "opinionated" (ie - lack of diligence/don't or won't verify for yourself?)

Or do you not read it and therefore don't know and therefore cannot verify that it's "opinionated"? (ie - avoid stuff that might disagree with your predisposed bias/prefer your echo chamber?)

Remember, I'm a details and evidence guy. Details and Evidence matter. In equal measure. What can't be evidenced in detail is normally unfounded conjecture or pure opinion. A description which fits your post, I think. Also, needling. But that's OK, because I am a details and evidence guy and if what you write is internally contradictory, or can't be evidenced, then the needle fails to land.

LOL
not true

Bidens got millions more votes, in fact more votes than Trump this time

We all intrinsically know that it wasn't true.
It wasn't true at the time.
It wasn't true when investigated several times.
It still isn't true today.

However, what becomes painfully obvious is that fact that it isn't true just doesn't matter to some folks. I'm not wired up to be able to understand this!

Kneeler also represents the implication of being "woke" - and that signals to the "anti-woke" brigade/culture wars propagators that Starmer is "not of our clan" and is thus being othered.
The statement of it being a "fact" is a probable deflection and a probable intentional lie to hide the true use of the word by someone.
I just wish they'd talk straight and say the quiet bits out loud so we can tackle what we're dealing with rather than it being a pseudo-hidden slur, by implication and innuendo.

I'll give it another go, Terry... You may have misread/selectively cherry picked what I wrote:

Research shows Trump voters are less likely to be college educated, so it’s more than an echo chamber.

But that’s not really the prime driver.

Trump is a right wing populist, he uses all the usual populist techniques, but the one primary driver of populism is people feeling they have been left behind and have no voice

…..the irony is that people get left behind by decades of rising wealth inequality, a result of right wing free market ideology, which exactly what populists like Trump want to increase.

So people fed up with massive wealth inequality, voted for Trump who will increase wealth inequality.

It won’t end well for the poor in America: more transfer of assets to the wealthy, less tax paid by the wealthy resulting in less public services…,which are needed most by the poor.

In the U.K. Boris Johnson, Nigel Farage and Brexit are all the same thing.

Trump managed to use the global financial crisis caused by covid and Putin to blame Democrats for price rises…..and the people fell for it.

When weak political systems and weak mainstream media allow the unabated spread of gaslighting, propaganda……the one who wins is the one that is prepared to lie the most.

Without checks and balances there is no democracy.
