Philly

A great idea, unfortunately we will be travelling home from hols on the Friday and I had persuaded SHMBO that we need to call in to the show on the way so if it is to be the Saturday at your place then I will need to take a rain check,

I am interested to visit Penny Farthing Tools in Salisbury so maybe a meet up some other time there,

Cheers Nigel

We would be honoured to have a brew in your Name. Maybe next year?
Cheers
Philly :D
Trust me, the honor would be all mine! Have two...

And I would bring maybe twenty-five or so kits--we could have a fun afternoon or two.

Take care, Mike
looking forward, hoping on next year...

Ouch, Tim  You make it look sooo good!
Noel
I could post over my skateboard to make you journey easier?
Nigel
A pennyfarthing meet would be good. Let me know when you are around.
Chas

This is looking better and better :)
I think I might have to try harder to make this one :-k ( I will also have to talk to the powers that be [-o< ) :)
I think it would be rude not too

Ahhh - Dorset/Poole/Canford Cliffs.

You lot could also have a 'barbie' on Studland and compare equipment?? .

David

(Used to live in Wimborne)

Philly - Wow, looks like you've really started something :)

I will be in Blighty in Sept. & yes, I was considering the Yandles show, but yours sounds more interesting :)

My itinery isn't finalised just yet but I would like to come if possible.

David
Not too sure on the Studland "comparisons" (Studland is a nudist beach for you Grockles  )
Losos
You are very welcome-but don't miss Yandles. Well worth a trip (it's about an hours drive from my house)
Cheers
Philly :D

hmmmmmmmmm
Yandles is about an hours drive from here as well, does that mean you live next door to me?:)

Hi All,
I'd been wondering for a while about the chance of a forum gathering. I don't suppose there's a chance of organising one in a slightly more central location. Dorset is quite a drive from York!!

I suggested that mores were organised at other locations on that day - nobody liked the idea

York is a long way from Dorset :)

Hi AndyG.....I was thinking the same thing, I'd love to go down and see everybody from the forum and play with some tools, but its just a little too far for me (North East). It would possibly be quicker and cheaper for me to visit MikeW in the States. Maybe you and I should meet up some time, Andy.....

Philly, thankyou for the very generous offer of inviting everyone into your home and workshop. Its this kind of thing that makes this a great forum!

Hi Philly, what a generous offer!
Thank you very much - I certainly would like to visit your workshop although I fear I'll turn green!!
Confirm nearer the time

Hi Simon and Andy - perhaps we should have a Northern get-together (and we all know we want to go and play at Scrit's workshop.. )

Andrew

PowerTool go and wash your mouth out with soap - you do not play in Scrit's workshop - its against the regulations

Hah, you are welcome anytime, day or night, Simon!

The spare room is always available. And in the words of an elder at a church we once attended upon meeting him [background...he was worried I would have a critical view of his church and its teachings as I had just graduated Bible college and was teaching there], "We may not do a lot right 'round here, but we sure do know how to eat." We were at a church potluck at the moment.

Point is, both Dina and I are decent cooks. The pantry is always full. A place to lay the head. What more is there?

Take care, Mike
