Disadvantage of toolbox systems is upper boxes need to be unclipped to access contents in lower boxes. Shelving is often built in workshops to provide access to a box that would otherwise be on the bottom of a stack. Drawers eliminate the need for shelves, use less floor space in a workshop & job site, allow the stack to be wheeled straight out of a workshop for transportation and require less bending for contents in upper drawers. I have been moving many of my tools to DeWalt TSTAK drawers for these reasons but some tools are too big for the DWST1-70705 deep drawer unit. Anyone know if DeWalt are planning a taller TSTAK drawer or rolling cart like Flex, Klein, Magnusson and Qbricks have? Otherwise I am thinking of converting a 70705 to accomodate bigger tools, much like Oliver Bradshaw has to a 2 drawer DeWalt Toughsystem in at 5:47. Alternatively I might try making a 305mm/12" tall drawer TSTAK from wood. Like many on the Internet have done to make a Systainer.
