Yes, there is a DX port on the body of the machine. It's not brilliant but better than nothing. The main problem is that it is 100mm dia. So is my DX hose. But one needs to be 100mm ID and the other OD for them to mate. They are both the same, so in practice I simply remove the cover and vac out manually from time to time. It's easy to let it build up though, so I have to be diligent. I just need to make a collar.

If I have the parallel arms running from the far side I think it will make the unit too flexible. I won't be able to support it on the fence.
