Trouble getting in control

Laura, try rotating the brass insert until the bottom piece sits diagonally across the top of you gouge flute.

As shown on Guide Page 7 bottom row left.

Stupid me. :roll: That would probably do it. With the strip placed diagonally it the brass insert can be turned further down. I will try if that works. Putting the brass thing slightly diagonal would not work since the corner would hit the jigs walls even sooner. When turned more diagonally the remainging width should be still at least the same width as the gouge.
