Recieved my new triton compact saw table today and will be setting it up with my far eastern circ saw for the moment, but am looking to change the saw for a much better model in the very near future.

Have any of you got this table, and what saws do you use?

Thanks.

Matt.

I have the Triton Workstation with a Bosch saw and i've also got the Triton Saw which is amazing.

Matt,

I second the Triton circular saw (I also use mine in the Triton Workstation)

As "newbie", I have purchased "cheaper" options for many tools but as and when I purchase "dearer" ones, the difference is amazing - to the point I now wait until sufficient pennies have been collected....

I have the Workcentre 2000 and use a 7 1/2" Makita saw. So far I've been very pleased with the results but I do fancy the big Triton saw. trouble is I want to buy other tools too so that will have to wait. Some people say you can't get good accuracy with what's designed as a hand held saw strapped to a Triton table but I,ve been amazed at how good it can be. The fence is rock steady because it locks at both ends..OK that takes longer to set up, but for a hobbyist that is not a big issue. Like any other table saw, if you take the time to set it up accurately you can get great results. Have a look at the some of the Aussie Triton sites (sorry I don't have the addresses to hand but a quick web search shoud find them...something like Ubeaut.com I think, has a Triton forum.

cheers

George

I have returned to roots and use the triton 2000 workcentre and triton saw which is now nearly 4 years old and has never had to be reset on the chassis and height winder.

I knew that finally you would see the error of your ways with all those other table saws!!

The Triton saw fitted to the WC2000 makes setup much easier but it is also possible to fit other saws but requies move fiddling.
