Hi All

Please forgive my ignorance if not posted correctly as this is my first attempt... I have a Trend T7 router and have purchased a Porter cable 4216 dovetail jig. I have looked and the Trend T7 will not work out of the box and have seen a Unibase/180 adapter plate that seems to be the correct adapter for the router guides. The guides are two part with one piece through the bottom of the router plate and then a nut that holds the router guide in place.

The adapter from Trend Unibase 180 has two threaded holes on the bottom in the middle where the router bit comes through, however, the router guides from Porter cable are just attached as mentioned.

Has anyone had any experience with this sort of issue or setup, would be appreciative if anyone can offer any information

Thanks

Would this do it? https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4011657
You will need a 3d printer.
Hi

many thanks for your reply, unfortunately the Trend T7 router base is a strange one. The picture you supplied is similar to the Unibase 180 that Trend supply but it doesn't support the American style threaded guides which just fall through the hole. Looks like I might have to return the Porter Cable jig and go down the Trend jig route which I'm not sure I like as much but needs must, thanks again.
