I won a competition!

[Essex Barn Workshop]

So over the last 5 days Trend were running a treasure hunt with clues on facebook.
The clues were pretty simple, and I assumed the answer was AC supply tool shop in Letchworth. To win, you had to be the first in line at 10am.
I got there a little early, 7:50 to be precise and won all of this, and more:

They are changing a circular saw blade for one that fits my track saw, some 125mm sandpaper for 150mm etc but retail value is over £600.

Very happy.

A tool shop in Liverpool celebrated an anniversary many years ago by offering everything in the shop at it's old money (£ s/d) prices. The catch, you had to pay for it with old money so lots of scrabbling arou d in pots and jars and tapping up the family for any of their old coins and notes
There was quite a queue outside all night and when they opened in the morning I bought a Record #4 for ten bob and a few other bits n pieces.
