Trend craftsman router table/ DeWalt router

Hi
I have bought a second hand router table and fitted my DeWalt router underneath but the fixings in the plate don't seem to fit flush. It's the same with the leveling screws on the plate

I am a complete novice regarding routers but even know it's not right

The holes need to be countersunk so the heads sit flush, looking at your pictures that plate looks rather thin.

I assume that the plate is what came with the router. I just can't see why they are not countersunk
Is it possible to buy a plate to fit that table ?

The plates come in two sizes, metric and imperial and are normaly around 10mm thick. The american / Canadian plates like Kreg, Incra, Jessem & woodpecker are all imperial and more common.
