.. but for an obsessive, he should have checked his text for consistency! In the table of "heavy woods" he gives Lignum vitae a density of 1.34, then a bit further down says Snakewood is the heaviest wood, with a density of only 1.30.
Me, obsessive about editing??????

Yes, and Euc. Regans isn't a conifer and so can't be the tallest Xmas tree; it's the tallest hardwood.
